The evaluation
More than a number.
A complete condition review.
A grade describes overall card condition, not monetary value. VCG evaluates a card as a complete object, while also taking production characteristics into consideration.
Centering
How the printed image sits within the card borders and overall visual balance.
Surface
Gloss, scratches, print defects, stains, marks, and other visible surface characteristics.
Edges
Chipping, fraying, roughness, wear, and other changes along the card perimeter.
Corners
Sharpness, wear, nicks, fraying, and whether the corners retain their original shape.
